New Delhi, Oct 9: A key aide of gangster Chhota Shakeel, munna Jhingada is now handling fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s real estate business in pakistan and the United Arab Emirates after thailand rejected all India’s plea seeking the extradition of Munna.

According to Indian agencies, bringing munna back to india where he is wanted for multiple crimes has become nearly impossible after the Thai court's order. munna Jhingada was born in Uttar Pradesh and was a long-time resident of Jogeshwari (East) in Mumbai.

After a failed assassination attempt on Chhota Rajan, a rival of Ibrahim, munna was arrested in thailand in 2000. The Thai police found a Pakistani passport on Jhingada that identified him as Md. Saleem, which would eventually lead to a tussle with both countries india and pakistan claiming Jhingada as their citizen. In this September, Jhingada was deemed a Pakistani national by a court in thailand and set free.

“Jhingada is in pakistan now and the court in thailand has clear declared him a Pakistani national. Country pakistan will deny the fact that he is munna Jhingada,”  a mumbai Police officer told HT.

As per police officials in India, on September 16 Jhingada landed in Karachi, Pakistan.

Sources told HT that munna has been entrusted with the D-company’s real estate business in pakistan and UAE.
