YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government seems to be keen on not letting former TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar scot-free. Chintamaneni is already in jail for beating a Dalit and the Police are arresting him one case after the other. The police are arresting him within hours of the former MLA coming out on bail on a different case.
Chintamaneni has been facing as many as 66 cases till now, apart from fresh cases being filed by the police. His victims who did not dare to come out and file cases during the TDP Government are coming out now and filing the cases. Very soon, the cases may reach a century. With numerous cases and arrests in all of them, there are no chances of the former MLA getting released any sooner. the Police will seek remand in every case so that he can be put behind the bars for as much time as possible.
Even if he gets bail in one case, he will be still in jail for another case. Chintamaneni lost in the recent election to YSR Congress' Abbayi Chowdary with a whopping margin of around 13000 votes in Denduluru constituency. TDP losing Power made things worse for him.
