Those who were not active in Telangana moment since last four years have become dynamic now. Congress efforts on division of the state before 2014 elections successful or not, but many Congress leaders have in their trails to become first Chief Minister of Telangana. Jana, Damodara, DS, DK Aruna and Jaipal and other names are in circulation for that Chair. Added to them Sanath Nagar MLA and Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority Marri Sashidhar Reddy name also included in the list.
Interesting thing is that Marri hadn’t spoken positive towards Telangana so far. Adding to that he had expressed his views against the creation of small states. He supports with the arguments of SA Congress leaders and on rights of settlers those were lived in Hyderabad. It seems that he changes his tune now. Since last two days, Marri has conducted meetings with all Telangana MLAs and demand to increase MLA Segments from existing 119 to 153 for political stability in the region.
Marri will leave to Delhi and submit his opinions to GoM. Many are surprised on his sudden political activeness in Telangana. He also warned KCR for latter remarks against SA people lived in Hyderabad. Central Minister Balaram Naik confirmed that Marri is in the race for CM of Telangana and also confirmed that Sarve also in the race. Marri has very good relations with Congress High Command leaders.
