Reportedly the strike of TSRTC employees are entered tenth day and the agitation is growing bigger and bigger with each day passing. Meanwhile this has become a blessing for APSRTC and it has made good money for the Dasara festival season and as per the report, the transport authority has earned the revenue of Rs 229 crore for this festival season and when compared to the previous year, APSRTC did mint Rs 20 crore extra.

Image result for When will TSRTC strike come to an end?

As per report APSRTC has run a total of 5887 buses during the dussehra season and have collected fifty percent additional charges from the passengers. Perhaps the special buses were deployed from September 27th to October 13th and with TSRTC strike, passengers travelling to AP preferred their own transport and however, APSRTC could have made more money if the private travels had laid heavy charges.

Moreover surprisingly private travels did not hike the fares for the festival season and so the passengers picked a transport based on their convenience. Apparently it was reported that everyday nearly 71 lakh people travel in APSRTC and the transport authority makes an income of Rs 13 crore from the charges.  Perhaps in the last couple of months, occupancy ratio in APSRTC too got increased by 103% which means the authority is attracting the common man with good initiatives.
