Reportedly Rojo Thomas, the brother of Jolly’s first husband and deceased Roy Thomas, told the media on Tuesday that Jolly was forcing him to drop the complaint he had filed, where he raised suspicion over Roy’s death. Meanwhile Rojo said this while coming out of kozhikode Rural SP office, after giving his statement in the case.

Rojo said “Jolly approached me through some other people during the mediation of a civil case. She forced me to drop the case. She even kept this as a clause for mediation in the civil case”. Accordingly Rojo has filed a civil case against Jolly, alleging that she forged documents to illegally grab the property owned by his father, Tom Thomas and perhaps it was Rojo’s complaint that exposed the suspicious six deaths in the family and put the spotlight on Jolly Amma Joseph, after the bodies were exhumed on October 5. Furthermore the special investigating team probing the case will approach the Thamarassery Judicial First Class Magistrate court, requesting to extend the custody period of Jolly.

Moreover apart from Jolly’s first husband Roy, she is also alleged to have murdered Cily, first wife of Jolly’s present husband Shaju, Cily’s 2 year old daughter Alphine, Roy’s parents Tom Thomas and Annamma and his uncle Mathew Manjadiyil. Apparently two other persons Mathew and Praji Kumar have also been arrested in the case, and have been accused of supplying cyanide to Jolly.
