The five judge bench headed by the CJI concluded the hearing after 40 days, though the order was reserved, it is likely that SC might pronounce the verdict by end of mid November.

    Supreme court reserved the order on Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid case pending since last couple of decades, the five judge bench headed by the CJI tarun Gogoi concluded the hearing after 40 days. The verdict is likely to be pronounced by mid November as CJI Gogoi is retiring on 17th of next month.

    Hindu Mahasabha counsel said that the verdict may come in next 23 days, the proceedings which concluded today after 40 days, it was second most lengthiest hearing in the history of Supreme court ever, first one was the Keshavnanda Bharti case which went on for 68 days. The apex court was hearing the proceedings since August 06 on day to day basis after a mediation panel constituted for the case failed.

     Allahabad high delivered the verdict on September 30 2010 dividing the disputed land into three parts to Ram Lalla, Sunni Waqf Board, and Nirmohi Akhada equally, However, they knocked the door of supreme court later.
