Chennai sources stated that the Madras high court
has reserved orders on an application, which sought to stay the release of
Tamil film “Bigil”, starring popular film star vijay and the film is scheduled
to be released on October 25. Furthermore it was reported that Justice R.Suresh
Kumar reserved orders, after hearing arguments from both sides on the
application filed by K.P. Selvah, claiming to be a film director.
Meanwhile claiming copy right over the story “Bigil”, Selvah in his application submitted that the story of “Bigil” resembles his script, which he had already registered with the south Indian Film Writers Association. As per report it was stated that for many years, he has been discussing the story with many producers.
Moreover he added the makers of “Bigil” have produced the film completely resembling his script, which amounted to infringement of his copy right over the script infringement of his copy right over the script.
