Industry sources are of the view that a lot of foreign exchange and investments coming in from the Seemandhra based NRI’s has reportedly stopped coming into Hyderabad for the last three months. The process began two years ago but now it has intensified.
This also coincides with the announcement of Telangana decisions by Congress leadership. Though this may be a hard fact for some section of people to digest, it is those huge investments from Andhra industrialists that keeps the demand for real estate and industrial projects alive and kicking.
Telangana leaders have been saying that this will be just a temporary phenomenon and once everything is settled, things will be back to normal. However, they have not come out with a proper plan on from where the investments will come.
But at the same time Seemandhra folks are saying that when they are being asked to leave Hyderabad in another 5-10 years, none of their people would invest in Hyderabad from now on! All in all, it looks like a dark future awaits Hyderabad and Telangana region.
