Two days back there were reports that Union Minister of State for Railways and Kurnool’s strong Congress leader Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy carried the signatures which were reportedly of more than 1500 sarpanchs of Kurnool and Ananthapur districts.
Sources say that he was seen carrying these signature copies to show to GoM and Congress leadership that the people of these two districts were fully geared up to go in favor of Rayala Telangana.
But however sources also say that Rayalaseema Porata Samithi leader Byreddy Rajashekar Reddy and others quickly came in front of the media and questioned as to how Kotla can claim he had signatures of all the sarpanchs in two districts.
It was being joked about in Delhi that it is the attitude of such leaders which has resulted in a situation where even after formation of Telangana; they are unable to demand what exactly they want for their regions.
