Harish Rao reportedly filed a petition in AP high court as PIL challenging CM Kiran Kumar Reddy allocating Rs.4200 crores for his native Chittoor districts. The TRS leader has been breathing fire against Kiran regarding this issue for the last few weeks.
CM Kiran had recently issued GO’s worth this much money which involves transport of close to 5 TMC feet of water from Kandaleru reservoir over Penna river in Nellore districts. If this goes through then a huge relief will come to the farmers.
The water will be transported through a series of pipelines to all important towns and mandals in Chittoor district. Forget Seemandhras, the people of Telangana themselves are asking what is wrong if a CM develops his own district.
Even during KCR’s recent trip of Siddipet, KCR promised that he will develop this region with special interest after Telangana formation since it is his home town. Even Naidu developed Kuppam while YSR developed Pulivendula and tomorrow any CM of any state has right to develop his native place. What is wrong with that Harish?
