The hurry in which the Congress high command is planning to push the Telangana bill forward seems to be bringing cheer for some and apprehensions for others. The midnight acts of Congress are well known with the manner in which the December 9th statement was made.
Now there are hectic discussions going on in Union Cabinet whether to go with Telangana or Rayala Telangana with the prospect of Hyderabad still hanging in balance. But as announced last night, Hyderabad will become part of Telangana though few functions would come under the Governor.
Now that the unanimity has been reached finally, sources say the bill will be getting ready to be passed to President who will inturn send it to the President Pranab Mukherjee. But here is the interesting part.
If people feel this may take few days, then they are mistaken. It is being said that the T-bill was dashed off last night itself to president so that he can take a decision at the earliest. Well it seems to be racing against time!
