After the gap of two decades, stage set for TDP to join in NDA. Political friendship arouse between TDP and BJP after December 10th. BJP high command wants to go with old friend TDP, though YSRCP and TRS have ready for alliance with BJP. BJP national leaders have come to that decision even though objections arise from state BJP leaders.
Reportedly, Kishan Reddy wants to contest individually in 2014 elections. If alliance is necessary, he wants to go with either TRS or YSRCP. As per buzz, High Command turned down his request. BJP High Command believed that YSRCP is already have a stamp as “Christian Party” where as party would suffer in SA if BJP made alliance with TRS. Based on these two reasons BJP wants to go with TDP. TDP still has strong vote bank and constructive party structure in two regions.
On other side, TDP is also facing embarrassment situation with TRS and YSRCP in two regions. Party fails to pick-up not up to the extent to fight in general elections. TDP certainly need strong alliance. It found in the form of BJP. Party leaders also believed that there is no use of going alliance with CPI and CPM in the state. PM candidate Narendra Modi from BC and has great youth following nation-wide. TDP wants to use to the full extent. CBN was already made discussions with Arun Jeitley during his last week Delhi visit. And CBN also gave indication to CPI leader AB Bardhan that TDP wants to go with BJP for various political reasons in AP.
