YSRCP is preparing ground work on MP candidates and will announce in advance than Congress and TDP nominees. Party believes that MP candidate is the key to win Assembly seats under its Parliament Segment. So party has plans to finalize the candidates as early as possible. YSRCP party was announced Conveners for respective MP segments. There are two MP segments (Eluru and Narsapur) in West Godavari District.
Jagan gave orders to all conveners to visit respective segments and strengthen the party. Party announced Thota Chandrasekhar for Eluru and industrialist Kanumuri Raghu Rama Krishna Raju for Narsapur as conveners. Thota Chandrasekhar is Maharastra Cadre IAS who resigned for services and joined in politics. He lost from Guntur as PRP candidate. Reportedly, Thota also lost huge money in 2009 elections. After taking huge gap in politics, Thota is joined in YSRCP seeking to contest as MP from Eluru. From Narsapur, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju will contest from YSRCP. Raju has good relations with segment and also have huge community in the segment. He is close relative to YSR “Soul”KVP and sitting MP Kanumuri.
Jagan asked them to visit their segments as conveners. Here they got doubt, without giving in-charge responsibilities how can we visit segments. They feared that any changes would happen in future in their segments. Earlier also YSRCP announced conveners for Assembly segments and later made some changes. This is the reason for conveners fear. Adding to that, YSRCP assembly aspirants is making their rounds around Thota and Raju assuming their financial position in mind. All these developments increased their apprehensions among MP conveners.
