If reports are to believed, then an Indian-born US governor is expected to be competing for the US President Polls in 2016. Sources say that the Republican leader and current Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal is planning to run for US president in 2016.
According to Senator David Vitter who made these comments during a private American TV channel C-SPAN's Newsmakers programme he would be a significant candidate. This does come as a surprising development.
The republican party says its respects his leadership, his political values which analysts is very obvious to everybody who has been paying attention as to who will be the next US presidential candidate Jindal's second term as the Louisiana Governor reportedly ends in 2015.
If he is indeed nominated after a series of internal polls within the Republican party and wins then it will be no doubt be a triumph year for Indians in US. The fact that their concentration is high also benefits Jindal’s chances.
