Political calculations have been changed drastically in Krishna District. Like other leaders in SA, Congress leaders in Krishna are also searching for other alternatives for their future in 2014 elections. Lagadapati, Mandali, Booragadda definitely not go for elections with Congress symbol. They aren’t confident enough to won again in the elections as Congress candidates. They are looking towards TDP, YSRCP and new party (expected from Kiran Kumar Reddy). Those who are not able to exist either in TDP or in YSRCP have shown interest on Kiran party. Lagadapati also confirmed other leaders in the district on this and try to stop them to join in TDP or YSRCP. Lagadapati will not contest again on Congress Ticket as Vijayawada MP. There are lots of rumors spread around that Devineni Avinash will likely be a candidate for Congress for Vijayawada Segment. Minister Pardha Saradhi received invitations from both TDP and YSRCP this time. TDP Senior Leader Yenamala invited Pardha Saradhi into TDP and will offer Machilipatnam MP ticket. Vijayawada (West) MLA Srinivas too seeks to join in TDP. But he fails to get assurance from TDP on same Segment. Mandali Buddha Prasad wants to adieu for politics altogether. Avinash who got married last month is the son of Senior Politician Devineni Rajashekar (Nehru). Reportedly, Devineni Avinash is appointed as Congress in charge for Vijayawada Segment. Nehru had made a call to all senior leaders in the Congress and requests them not to leave the party. Nehru seeks co-operation of other leaders when Avinash contest for LS. Avinash led Student JAC in SA and involved in the agitations against CWC decision on Telangana. How can he contest on Congress Ticket for Vijayawada MP? He is too young and immature to contest for LS. Financially too, Devineni is un-comparable to TDP (Kesineni) and YSRCP (PVP) nominees.
