As if the rumours and gossips are not enough now, TDP leader Devineni Uma reportedly alleged that the change made in the Legislative Affairs portfolio was only a drama enacted by CM N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Minister D Sridhar Babu together.
Devineni has said that Sridhar Babu’s portfolio was stripped by the Chief Minister only to boost his image in a big way in the Telangana region which was inturn aimed at reducing the popularity of Telangana strongmen like Jaipal Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha and Jana Reddy.
Devineni had pointed out that there were 20 major mistakes in the State Reorganisation Bill and things cannot be debated without rectifying such flaws. He also said that both Sonia and Rahul may be contesting the next elections from Medak or Karimnagar district since they don’t have anything to gain in any other state.
Even Telangana leaders are not denying such a possibility because Sridhar Babu is considered to be close to CM Kiran and this may be Kiran’s way of checkmating his rival Jaipal Reddy!
