The disaster in four assembly elections has been an eye opener to the congress high command on the party's erosion in traditional vote banks of SC/ST and BC's .
A recent study submitted by the K Raju headed SC/ST cell of AICC shows that Congress could bag only 6 of the 91 seats in the last assembly elections in the states of Chattisgarh, Delhi, MP and Rajasthan. ' Congress dismal performance is due to erosion of dalit vote bank from 22 percent of 2004 to 5 percent in 2014 ' said the report .
