PVP has planned to give paper ads in all dailies and glow-sign boards in Vijayawada to enter into politics by Pongal. Reportedly, he spent crores of rupees before he wants to join in YSRCP. What is the real reason behind withdrawn of Potluri Vara Prasad as Vijayawada MP Candidate? This is the question that arouse among the YSRCP cadre in Krishna district. As per latest buzz, he cancelled all these and left to abroad with his family.
There is around 1.5 lakhs of voters exist under Vijayawada Segment. Except Nandigama and Tiruvuru, all remaining 5 Segments are comes in General Category. Potluri Vara Prasad is from Kamma Community. Reportedly, he requested YS Jagan to give at least 2 Assembly segments for Kamma Community. In particular, PVP insisted Mylavaram and Vijayawada East segments to Kamma Community. Jagan had denied his request and gave these two other than Kamma. Reportedly, he questioned “Who will vote for Kamma Candidate?” This makes anger to PVP. Without caring 6 to 7 crores that had already spent for YSRCP, PVP openly said to withdrawn from the Vijayawada race.
Jagan rejected YSRCP tickets to Jyesta Ramesh (Mylavaram) and Thatineni Padmavathi (Penamaluru) that are related to Kamma Community. No one is there from Kamma community except Kodali Nani (Gudivada) in the district. Some prominent leaders in Krishna and Guntur districts have created the wrong opinion on Kamma Community. Analysts believed that this will affect YSRCP chances in two districts. Political parties are tried to eradicate caste feelings on them before the general elections, but YSRCP can’t do in this regard.
