According to Alwal SI Venkanna, the techie, , was the daughter of a retired Navy officer, Surya Krantham residing in Jawahar Nagar for the last 20 years. Sunitha one of their two daughters was working for a private software company as software engineer, the last three years.Police are suspecting love affair as the reason behind the death as the parents were looking for an match for the girl On Thursday, Sunitha, on pretext of ill health, stayed back at home when her father Krantham left for work and her mother went shopping with her younger daughter. When they got back home, they found Sunitha hanging from a fan. They also found a black coloured liquid in a glass. Police was notified, and they rushed to the spot. During investigations, Police also found that Sunitha had sent a text message, 'Where are you' to an unknown number. That was the last correspondence she had with anyone. Police say that this was the 3rd suicide in the IT corridor in February and they had recorded nearby 12 such suicides and complaints of divorces and broken marriages in the Hyderabad .Besides Telangana, the recession in IT sector had led to such social tension , they said. 'We had record migrations of 7200 techies from Hyderabad in last one quarter' says a IT consultant.
