Senior leaders from various regional parties are reportedly expressing their anguish over the undemocratic manner in which Congress is planning to bifurcate the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a different issue that none of their woes are being heard by the high command. Today senior Congress leader Gaade said that in his entire political life, he hasn't seen such a situation and lamented how the Telangana Bill, even after being rejected in state Assembly is now being introduced in Parliament. Gaade said that people behind such a move will face the consequences in future and added that a bill rejected by the Assembly should not be introduced in the Parliament without an amendment made in the Constitution. The national media is also reporting how most parties including BJP are averse to supporting the bill which has provision for a common capital of Hyderabad without any legal basis and are worried that tomorrow they need to feel ashamed if courts dismiss this! Still, Sonia Gandhi seems unperturbed so let us see what happens.
