The maverick Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal who became famous as the pepper spray MP last week has announced that he will be quitting politics with immediate effect. This is owing to the announcement and passing of the Telangana bill in Lok Sabha.
Lagadapati was seen speaking in a balanced perspective even as he said that the time has come to bury any hatred and spread the message of love and harmony among Telugu speaking people. From a long time, Lagadapati was fighting hard for Samaikyandhra.
He said that he has done his best to keep AP united and he hoped AP stays united but Congress party has ensured that the first linguistic state in India is divided without any scientific basis. This is something most of them would agree.
However he maintained a conciliatory note and said that since he is a misfit in Indian politics and will be leaving politics immediately and has sent his resignation to the speaker. Well as per his word he has announced this, so does this mean he will not be joining Kiran's proposed party!
