Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde during the debate on Telangana bill in Loksabha promised to give attractive and irresistible package to seemandhra once the Andhra Pradesh is divided. Those who heard the statement started envying seemandhra for the financial packages and other offers galore.
However if one goes into the details of what Centre offered to seemandhra, it exposes its blatant lies and shows it is insulting seemandhra people treating them more heniously than beggars.
While Telangana is getting Rs 65k crs income per year, Seemandhra is getting a paltry sum of Rs 18k crs. After expenses Telangana still has surplus amount while Andhra is left in debts along with Rayalaseema. It will be burded with Rs 14k crs.
Now only Union Govt should answer whether this is called as attractive, lucrative package or paltry alms insulting seemandhra people.
