YS Jagan has concentrated on development of YSRCP in Telangana region. YSRCP is completely out of the race in Telangana region in state bifurcation issue. Many of its top leaders like Konda Surekha, Jitta and Mahender Reddy have deserted YSRCP after it completely ignored Telangana slogan. Jagan has planned to resurrect it’s bastion in some districts of Telangana like Khammam and Nalgonda.
YSRCP had conducted meeting of all Telangana co-coordinators at Lotus Pond to discuss on party position in the region. Jagan is satisfied on party position in Telangana and assured to the cadre that one of the YSR family members will lead its Telangana wing. Jagan predicts that Congress and TRS merger would benefit to YSRCP only. YS Jagan has encouraged its leaders in Telangana for the victory. Jagan told “Those who won as MPs from Telangana will become Union Ministers in next Central Government.”
YS Jagan predicts 28 MP seats from two regions in 2014 General elections. Replying to the suggestion on MIM alliance Jagan ruled out any possible alliance with MIM. YSR Muslim Reservations helps the YSRCP to win in Telangana. The one and only Senior Leader in Telangana Baji Reddy Govardhan were skipped to attend the meeting. Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda in-charge Mohan Reddy was resigned for YSRCP.
