Governor E S L Narasimhan's President Rule impact was felt today and the petrol bunks across the state capital which had shut down since last night protesting against raids by Meteorology department for short coining the customers were ordered to be opened immediately . 'Great Narasimhan"
Following reports in media channels the Governor directed the Chief secretary Mohanty to seize the petrol outlets who refuse to open up and held protest closures . The result was felt immediately as all petrol outlets have opened up immediately and serving the customers .
Last night onward two wheeler and four wheeler users were in great confusion and trouble when the petrol and diesel outlets went on cat strike protesting against the raids by the weights and measures ( metereology ) department on complaints of cheating the customers with malfunctioning fuel supply. Complaints were that 10-15 percent fuel was cheated to customers by deceptive computerized fuel supply machines in the city.
