Many are now wondering how TRS could muster the courage to shun away the overtures of powerful Congress led by Sonia Gandhi. It is known that TRS is not that strong in Telangana region, even though it enjoys peoples support. It is way behind, TDP and Congress in cadre and organisation strength.
Even then TRS didnot even consider alliance forget about merger with the Congress party. Those who heard KCR's comments in the press meet are still wondering about the party's intentions. However KCR answered many of these questions.
He said TRS is the Telangana Champion and questions what's wrong if they try to get political mileage out of it. He said there are lot of things after bifurcation and for that to happen, TRS should becoming strong politically.
When asked why TRS is so confident of winning, when it is still weak organizationally, he quoted surveys conducted by Headlines Today and other 20 channels which predicted the party to win 12-15 MP seats. Seems KCR left Congress in lurch going by surveys. If surveys don't turn true?
