Malaysia's military has announced that the Boeing jetliner missing for close to five days reportedly went off its course and flew hundreds of kilometers to the west after making its contact with civilian air traffic control near east coast. In what is being seen as a baffling mystery in recent aviation history, a massive search operation is currently underway to locate Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER carrying 239 passengers and crew. Malaysian authorities earlier said flight MH370 disappeared after an hour of taking it off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing but now they say that it had changed course after Kota Bharu and headed towards the Malacca Strait. Sources say that Strait of Malacca is one of the world's busiest shipping channels and is placed strategically along Malaysia's west coast. Now the Indian Navy is reportedly involved in search & rescue operations between Andaman & Nicobar Islands and the Strait of Malacca to trace the missing aircraft. All this is posing a biggest challenge to technology.
