Earlier, there is speculation that is there any political party stood opposite YSRCP in Kadapa district. Now, political calculations have been changed day by day that creates tremor among the YSRCP leaders. It seems that entire Congress in Kadapa district will going to be merging into TDP. Leaders like Varada, Meda, VeeraSiva, Ramesh, Kandula, DL and SaiPratap may join in TDP. All of these are strong in their segments. Congress has to search for its candidates in all 10 segments.
Varadarajula Reddy joined in TDP in Proddutur segment without having ticket confirmation. Varadarajula Reddy and Linga Reddy have worked together in Municipal elections to bag Proddutur Municipality and to check YSRCP in the segment. There is strong resistance from Rajampet TDP cadre on joining of Meda Mallikharjuna Reddy (Congress) but CM Ramesh involvement and convinced the cadre on importance of Meda entry into TDP. Kamalapuram MLA Veera Siva Reddy is almost deciding to come back to home (TDP). Veerasiva joined in TDP just to defeat Jagan’s uncle Ravindranath Reddy.
After all these developments, many aspirants from TDP have interested to contest for Kadapa MP. Kandula Rajmohan Reddy name is in first place from TDP. TDP also have in thought of fielding Senior Leader DL Ravindra Reddy as its MP candidate from Kadapa. For Rajampet also demand is increased slowly for TDP Parliament ticket. TDP has to field late Adikeshavulu Naidu son as its candidate. Reportedly, Saipratap is showed interest to contest again from Rajampet as TDP nominee. Saipratap is dissatisfied on Kiran’s Jai Samaikyandhra Party and looking towards TDP.
