The petrol tanker explode into flames near Thane, Mumbai. There have been reports that at least seven were burnt alive when a inflammable material caught fire and lead to the explosion of the tanker. The explosion took place on the Mumbai-Ahmedbad Highway around 3pm on Saturday.
The control room officials declared that the there were three persons in the vehicle and four on the road walking have been burnt in the mishap. They also mentioned that a few were injured and have been hospitalized immediately. The fire engines and the near by people rushed to the spot. The officials claimed that the people dead have still to be identified.
