YSRCP has planned to change its strategy in the general elections. YSRCP in particular has concentrated on party position in Godavari districts. YSRCP leaders have worried how to stop the raising graph of TDP in Coastal Andhra. Party internal surveys have clearly visible that TDP is ahead of YSRCP in Godavari districts.
As per buzz, YS Jagan will field as candidate from one of the Assembly Segments in East Godavari district. There are 19 Assembly Segments in the district. It’s common belief that party which won more number of Segments in the district would form the government in the state. Jagan himself wants to change the segment to stop the Cycle speed. YSRCP leaders observed that TDP would emerge as winner in Godavari districts. This causes worried to YSRCP.
Anyone can win from Pulivendula, it wouldn’t give much affect to the party. Contesting from East Godavari will increase YSRCP count in the general elections and counter the TDP as well. Vijayamama seeks not to contest this time for the elections. YSRCP has planned to field Vijayamma again in Pulivendula segment. Jagan feels that contesting from East Godavari means that make impact on West Godavari also for the party.
