The former Adilabad MP A. Indrakaran Reddy and MLA Koneru Kopanna, former Sirpur MLA were present in the press meeting addressed by the recent re-joined leader Mr. Vivekanand, MP, at New Delhi. The two leaders resigned to the party in 2012 as a part of fight for a separate state. According to APHERALD sources, Mr. Indrakaran Reddy is showing keen interest to contest from Nirmal Assembly constituency on Congress ticket. The Congress senior leaders are working according to the strategy especially by Mr.Digvijay Singh which envisages Maheshwar Reddy being given a ticket from Adilabad Asembly constituency where he will be supported by his mentorand DCC chief C. Ramchander Reddy. Even Maheshwar Reddy was not ready to forgo the ticket for the chances of losing the ticket for a youth Congress leader who has been tough in competition. The sources also added that Mr. Koppanna who lost in 2009 election to the TRS candidate, is likely to contest from Sirpur Assembly constituency. This queue is even likely to hold the former MLA, Palvai Rajyalaxmi who is presently in TRS, is also keenly looking forward for a Congress ticket.
