Chiru’s strength come down to 3 MLAs in East Godavari district after Bandaru Satyananda Rao (Kothapet) join into TDP. Vanga Geeta (Pitapuram),Pantham Gandhi (Peddapuram) and Kanna Babu (Kakinada Rural) are also tried to follow Bandaru and joined in TDP. For various reasons and bad reputation among the people TDP has not interested to invite them.
Vanga Geetha had her own importance in TDP when she was there in the party. Party offered many chances for Geetha. Based on her past relations in the party, Vanga Geetha also made her attempts to join in TDP. TDP is not willing to give Pithapuram Ticket due to bad reputation in its Survey. CBN is not ready ignoring Varma who lost the election in 2009 and worked for the TDP since last 5 years. Pantham Gandhi was conducted talks with Ghanta Srinivasa Rao and seeks to join in TDP along with Ghanta batch. TDP confirmed internally that voters in Peddapuram have lot of dissidence on Pantham that forced to close the doors to Pantham.
Kanna Babu starts talks with TDP leadership before Bandaru. He took some gap after the resignation of Kiran. He believed the speculations that Chiru will took charge of CM. Reportedly, Kanna Babu stopped his delegations with TDP and expected Cabinet berth in Chiru’s cabinet. This irritates TDP leadership and ignored him. Kanna Babu is also trying to join in TDP even after he participated in recently concluded Chiru bus tour. Now these three are also in thought of contesting as an Independent instead of contesting from Congress Nominees in next general elections.
