Google will soon join the ranks of Apple, HTC and Samsung by integrating a fingerprint scanner in its upcoming Nexus 6 Smartphone, according to a new report. Technology website Android Geeks has claimed that Google is in advanced talks with suppliers of fingerprint scanners in Asia. It also said that Nexus 6 will be based on LG G3 Smartphone, in line with earlier rumours. Sundar Pichai, the head of Android, has earlier said that Google will launch the successor of Nexus 5 in the second half of 2014. On the other hand, LG G3 is slated to be launched on May 27. It is expected that Nexus 6 will feature a 5.2-inch display with QHD (2560x1440p) resolution, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and 16 and 32GB internal storage options. As has been the case with earlier Nexus devices, Nexus 6 is expected to debut alongside the next iteration of Android operating system.
