There is lot of difference between 2012 bye-elections and 2014 General elections in AP. Heavy sentiment that prevails among the people on YSR family during the period in 2012. YSRCP President Jagan was arrested on DA case by CBI. That follows Vijayamma and Sharmila into the politics and made a campaign against illegal collusion of TDP and Congress to trouble YSR family.
This has been worked out well for the party and fetched 15 out of 18 Assembly Segments in the state. TDP was lost to secure minimum deposits in all Segments at that time. TDP has bounce back 14 Assembly segments like Narasannapet, Payakaraopet, Kakinada City, Eluru, Polavarm, Prattipadu, Narsapuram, Ongole, Kovuru, Udayagiri, Rajampet, Ananthapur (Urban), Tirupathy, and Rayadurgam in 2014.
Yesterday first result in SA went to TDP in the form of Ongole. TDP wins Ongole over YSRCP by margin of 16K votes. Damecharla Janardhan who lost in bye-elections to Balineni Srinivasa Reddy in 2012 has taken strong revenge this time. TDP cadre is happy on taking the revenge in some segments like Udayagiri, Kovuru, Prathipaadu, Tirupathy, Rayadurgam and Ananthapur (Urban). This is one of the examples that politics are never same at all times.
