Half decade before there was a star who was unbeatable in Telugu film industry. One needs a life time to find a guy who doesn’t admire him in the state. Millions of fans and admirers in Andhrapradesh and the country followed his every move and movie. Many fans supported him to join politics and want him to become CM of state just like NTR. Decided to join politics, he sent his close aids to study the voters and fans heart. Fans wanted him to join politics. Not sure about his objectives whether he wants to serve the people or want to be in power but he joined politics. He hardly has the knowledge of politics or has any leadership skills. Started his own party and his agenda is social justice. Not really sure what he really meant by social justice. Raised mercury and high hopes in 2009 elections but got only 18seats. Neither he got any power nor was a loser but only divided votes and helped congress in getting power again. He was just settling in his new role as politician which was too tough both because of his personality and his lack of skills. After the death of AP CM, state congress government was in trouble. The star saw an opportunity to get in to bigger role. Supported congress party to come out the trouble and taken troubles to his side by merging the party. Everybody thought it was not a wise decision but he was aware of his poor ability to run the party. Getting a cabinet berth was one big gift. Party cadre not so happy with his decision and his family was dead against the merger. In 2013, when congress announced separate state, he took side of his party only to oppose within few days gazing the people’s reaction. Samaikhyandra fight started and the star opened the drama of his resignation. Few days later his resignation rejected and started attending his functions from home. None of his suggestions were accepted by his own cabinet. UT status to Hyderabad was his final suggestion which was as usually rejected. His objectives are only to protect his interests and not the people’s. Many seniors leaders moved out of congress because of the AP division and arrogance of hi command. Seeing an opportunity to grow and gazing an opportunity to be CM for short time, he stuck with congress but failed to convince his followers to do so. Convinced by his support, congress leadership given him the election campaigning lead role. Star took the role happily thinking that he will be the CM candidate. Big zero was the result waiting for him but he continued the fight. People didn’t even attend his meeting forget about voting. Every fan of his supported opposition. Even a hard core of star not voted for his party. This really shows, leader should keep his followers interests first than his. But star was interested in his own interests. After losing all his fame and charm, he is trying to come back to films and woo audience. He might succeed in films but no longer as politicians because now people know him. Though he was a big star but small thinking cost him heavily. His acting skills were better suited for reel than real. Every politician is a good actor but every good actor need not be a good politician. ISHAANI
