Congress face worst ever defeat in 13 districts SA. The fight exists between TDP and YSRCP. Congress party fails to come even in runner in almost all segments except in Chipurupalli where former PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana contested as Congress candidate. Congress was satisfied with third place in 121 Assembly Segments out of 173 contested Segments in SA. Congress position fall down miserably in 52 Segments in fourth, fifth and so on. In Ananthapur Urban, Araku Valley and Kurupam Segments Congress party touched 6th place in getting the number of votes. CPI and CPI(M) occupied third and fourth slots in Ananthapur Segment. Lok Satta comes in 5th place. Congress is satisfied with 5th place in 14 Assembly Segments. Lok Satta, JSP, CPI(M), BSP are ahead of Congress in some segments like Gajuwaka, Chirala, Kakinada (Rural), Mangalagiri, Ongole, Palakollu. In Rayachoti, MIM secured more votes than Congress.   Botsa Appala Narasaiah secured more number of votes (44325) in SA than any other Congress nominee in Gajapathynagaram. But he satisfied with third position in Gajapathynagaram. MLA Malladi Vishnu from Vijayawada (Central) fall down to fourth place. CPI(M) Babu Rao got more number of votes than Malladi Vishnu. PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy got 16,484 votes in Penugonda Segment. Sake Sailajanath was received least number of votes (2176) than any other among all former ministers in SA. Congress has faced worst ever defeat in the state.
