TRS President KCR was targeted by all corners when Konda Couple joined in TRS. Congress leaders questioned how KCR joins Telangana opponents in TRS party. Barring all these remarks and allegations KCR invited Konda Couple into the party and offered Warangal (East) against Congress Minister Basavaraju Saraiah. Konda Surekha was interested on Parakala but KCR gave Warangal (East) Segment to her.
KCR also promised to take her into cabinet after TRS formed the Government. As per buzz, KCR also assigned responsibilities of winning of Parakala and Palakurthy Segments on Konda couple. He also leaves the choice of selection of the candidate to Konda Couple and dared to skip TRS ticket to sitting MLA Bikshapati Yadav. As per KCR directions, Konda couple was selected T-JAC leader Sahodar Reddy as TRS nominee against Challa Dharma Reddy (TDP) in Parakala.
But TDP wins Parakala Segment over TRS by margin of 9K votes. At the same time, TDP senior leader Errabelli Dayakar won over Congress candidate Dugyala Srinivasa Rao in Palakurthy Segment. It’s shocking and surprising that TRS pushed back to third place in this segment. Analyzing these two results KCR is not satisfied with Konda Couple. He believed that they didn’t work towards TRS victory in these two segments. This forced him not to take Konda into his cabinet.
