A leading national daily has analyzed that the anger of Kapus has reportedly affected the victory of YSRCP in many districts especially East and West Godavari, where the community is numerically very strong.
The daily has said that Kapus are of the belief that the late chief minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy spoiled their dreams of securing power from two dominant communities when Chiranjeevi had floated PRP.
Hence, now Pawan Kalyan has reportedly undermined the YSRCP's chances of forming government. Though Jaganmohan tried to win over Kapus by fielding majority candidates from the community most of them lost despite having considerable Kapu votes in their constituencies.
In West Godavari, East Godavari, Krishna and Guntur it only won 15 of the 67 seats and it has predicted that YSRCP would have easily formed government even if it had won half the Kapu dominated segments in these districts.
