It is customary for the potential Chief Ministers to get their official residence as part of the bureaucratic exercise, which happens every time a new CM comes into power. This is now the case for the CM designate of Telangana KCR too.
As a result, the authorities are now searching for an ideal residence for the new chief minister and reportedly finalized CM camp office in Begumpet. Sources say that KCR was not inclined to take up this as his home.
This is because he was apprehensive of its fate. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy passed away after making many changes here followed by Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy who lost their political careers.
It is heard that he has instructed official that he will be willing to move to a bungalow in Kundanbagh and he is fine for this to be his official residence! It has to be seen how the authorities are going to arrange for alternatives now.
