Many towns and cities like Visakapatnam, Guntur, Vijayawada, Kurnool, Prakasham And Tirupati are in the race. The Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) has done its research and submitted a report in detail about the capital of Seemandhra.
As per their reports they are excluded Donakonda in Prakasham, Kurnool and Vizag. Reason for ruled out is they find difficult to establish a new capital in these places. For Vizag geographical disadvantages are coming into the picture. Donakonda is too remote place and the Kurnool face inundation problem. So finally they thought it would be better either Hanuman Junction or Nagarguna Sagar in Guntur district.
Hanuman Junction is located on Gannavaram-Nuziveedu Stretch and its equal distance from Vijayawada and Eluru. As per the sources, it’s confirmed Gannavaram-Nuziveedu stretch would be the new capital. Airport at Gannavaram would likely to go renovation on par with global standards. Another happy news for Seemandhra people is that Narendra modi is going to announce a big package for the development of Seemandhra. Finally people of Seemandhra are feeling luck about Chandrababu and Modi combination.
