If reports are to be believed, then Dr NTR University of Health Sciences will be most likely developed as an integrated medical hub due to its central location and accessibility to people from across Seemandhra.
It is known that Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister-designate will be starting his camp office at Nagarjuna University campus and close to the directorate of medical education and super specialty hospitals are expected to come up here.
It is being said that the NTR University may be converted into an integrated medical hub by introducing all other branches of medical and health sector, plus an Ayurvedic college and Homoeopathy college.
According to the health officials, land is not considered as a problem as there is 200 acres of land available at Mangalagiri near Health University, which also has Government General Hospital and Siddhartha College in its close vicinity.
