While the entire nation is eagerly waiting for a chance to witness the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there are a few who though have got this opportunity are into skipping this chance. The reasons for this do vary from politically opposite party to differences in terms of their state purposes. As aware most of the VVIPs not just from India, but also from worldwide are dropping down to be a part of this. Coming to those, who are not willing to or planning to skip the swearing in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India are the Congress chief ministers of Karnataka and Kerala. They are not attending tomorrow’s swearing-in occasion of Narendra Modi at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi. Also in the list is the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. In her case, suspense is still prevailing regarding her participation. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is officially said to be skipping the oath-taking ceremony by the state officials. They stated that as per the pre designed schedule of the Chief Minister, Siddaramaih will tomorrow be attending several programmes in the city of Bangalore and thus would not make it to Delhi. Similar is the matter from Kerala, as Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is not attending the swearing-in ceremony, citing pre-scheduled engagements in the state. Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa as already known has opposed the participation of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in the ceremony. All the political party leaders from Tamilnadu have stood on the same stand and tried their best to oppose this. Participation of Jaya is still kept in suspense officially, but there were reports that she is likely to boycott it.
