Looks like there is a sequence of resignations happening in the IT king of India, Infosys group. There was yet another high profile exit at Infosys which is the eleventh one at the top level in the company from the time co-founder Narayana Murthy put down his papers in June last year. Now it was the president and member of the board BG Srinivas, who has resigned today for his services at Infosys. Company spokes person in a statement said that this resignation is effective June 10. There was no specific reason given by the company management for the submission of Srinivas’s resignation. But a few undisclosed sources from within the company are into giving a few leaks that Srinivas would soon be joining as the CEO and managing director of another listed IT firm from within the country. BG Srinivas after putting down the papers has stated to be thanking Infosys for the wonderful opportunity given to him. He said his tenure at Infosys has been one of his most rewarding experiences, and is proud to have contributed to the best in the growth story of Infosys in the industry. Srinivas was considered to as one of the probables for the CEO post after SD Shibulal retires in January 2015. BG Srinivas during his tenure with Infosys has played a key role in building the Enterprise Solutions Unit, strengthening the company’s business in Europe and driving growth in key business verticals. Looking at other recent drop outs, Infosys chief compliance officer Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan quit last month.
