15th Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new cabinet of Ministers had a commonly seen agenda having no Minister above the age of 75 years. This in a way attracted good applause from the common public and especially the working people of the nation. But, there was a surprising development that took place at the National level with chance to break this. Murli Manohar Joshi, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader has met Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday. There was a long running speculation that Joshi would surely be a part of Modi’s cabinet, but for reasons this has not happened. At this point of time, Joshi coming and personally meeting Narendra Modi and holding discussions with him for about 45 minutes is drawing a huge interest from the media and political circles. There is already been a wide spread talk that Modi may soon be expanding his cabinet of Ministers and there is been a long list of candidates in aspiration and hope to get their berth. Key ministries like the Defense have been given as an additional charge to the present Ministers. The portfolio can be allocated to full-time incumbents. Joshi’s name has also figured as a possible candidate for Defense Ministry which Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is currently having as additional charge. As aware, Murli Manohar Joshi is one of the senior men from the party with a good support from RSS. Also that Modi treats him more than a guide in politics and had even gone and met him after the election results were out. Now, speculations are that Joshi would be included in Modi's team either as a Minister or as an adviser in some or the other possible means to utilize his experiences.
