If the buzz in political circles and IT industry is to be believed, An unknown village near Hanuman Junction, Bapulapadu will be the Cyberabad of the Seema Andhra. Bapulapadu has about 1000 acres of forest and government lands which makes it idle for building the Hitech city. It will house a Hi-tech City besides residential and commercial infrastructure of a global stature. Bapulapadu is 40 Kms away from Vijayawada, one of the commercial hubs and probable for Seema Andhra state capital. It is also nearer to the Gannavaram Airport. Government will also plan a well defined road structure and other infrastructure facilities to attract more companies and investors to the new state. It is said that already a plan for the Hitech city is ready with Chandra Babu and he will begin work once he swears in as Chief Minister. Already construction companies are visiting the village and are drawing up their plans to impress the Chief Minister. L&T, which had built the Hi-Tec City in Hyderabad, is actively evaluating the business opportunities in the new region. The company has the reputation of completing Hitech city in record time and it will be their major plus point if the commercial aspects are okay. Mr VB Gadgil supervised the construction of Hitech city several years back in Hyderabad. He is also supervising the Metro Rail project in Hyderabad now. It is said that Mr.Gadgil is closely monitoring the government moves across in Seema Andhra to bag the business oppurtunities there. Chandra Babu Naidu will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of the new state on June 8th.
