TDP district president Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said Friday that Nara Chandrababu Naidu would sign on the farm and DWACRA loans waiver files first after swearing-in as chief minister. Urging people and party leaders to participate in the ceremony Sunday, Devineni Uma said that Babu would implement his promises in phases.
At a press conference at Krishna district party office, Devineni said that eight chief ministers and Central ministers like Venkaiah Naidu and Nirmala Sitharaman would attend the swearing-in. Uma said that clarity would come on the participation of film stars like Pawan Kalyan and Rajinikanth Saturday.
Special arrangements are being made at the venue to avoid trouble in case of rain. About 180 acres of land has been allotted to parking.
Uma also said that efforts were being made to release 10 tmc water from Nagarjuna Sagar for delta farmers. He said that discussions were being held with agriculture and irrigation officials as cultivation had to start soon after the monsoon sets in.Krishna district secretary B Arjunudu, vice-president G Nanayya Choudhary and senior leader Ch Rajeswara Rao among others were present on the occasion.
