Chandra Babu is seen receiving all the important guests at the Swearing-in ceremony in Guntur. He received actor cum politician Pawan Kalyan personally and they were seen sharing an affectionate hug. It is known that Pawan Kalyan had extensively campaigned for TDP and BJP combine in the state in the recently concluded elections.
Chandra Babu always credited Pawan Kalyan's part in his historic win. Later on Pawan Kalyan was also seated on the dais along with the National leaders indicating Chandra Babu's respect for him. At the designated muhurtham, Chandra Babu Naidu took oath as the first Chief Minister of the New Andhra Pradesh. Later on the 19 ministers in his cabinet also took oath.
