Nandamuri Balakrishna seems to be a man of deeds just like his father, NT Rama Rao. The actor cum politician started fulfilling the electoral promises to Hindupur constituency even before he took oath as MLA. Balakrishna had camped in Hindupur in the last few days and had complete consultations with local people, leaders and government officials of the constituency. Of all the problems plaguing the constituency, drinking water scarcity is the main problem and Balayya is planning to resolve it at the earliest. He is banking on NTR Sujala Sravanthi program to clear this problem. Balayya today had done Bhoomi Puja for 9 Mineral water plants in Hindupur today. The water plants will function under NTR Sujala Sravanthi program after it is finalized. The NTR Sujala Sravanthi program of TDP intends to supply pure drinking water at very low cost. TDP has announced that 20 liters of drinking water will be supplied to people at a nominal price of two rupees. Balakrishna also inaugurated the road widening works from Hindupur to Somandepalli. The road is of 25 Kilometers length and will cost about 10 crores. On the other side, Balakrishna on this occasion made it clear that Telugu Desam government is committed to fulfill all the poll promises of the party made before the elections.
