Even after the completion of taking charge as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, CBN is not yet start his functioning as Chief Minister. AP Government is seriously thinking on reduction of expenditure and increase of revenue. As per current scenario, generating the revenue is not in CBN hands but he is in thought of cutting of unnecessary expenditures to release financial burden to the Government immediately. Reportedly, CBN eyed on abolition of YSR scheme “Adarsha Raithu”. This was started in 2008 with aim to know updated knowledge on farming to the farmers. There are around 25K farmers exist in 13 districts are considered as “Adarsha Raithu”. AP Government has to pay 1000/- as their monthly salary to them. TDP alleged on this scheme right from its inception. TDP criticized that this scheme helps to the Congress Workers in the villages but not to the farmers. YSR deployed around 14K field assistants to monitor the Central Government Scheme “National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme” by offering monthly salary of 6K to them. YSR has planned to introduce this to implement NREG properly. These two schemes are still continuing even after YSR death. Now officials explained to new Chief Minister on financial burden in continuing these two. Reportedly, 100 Crores of rupees spent monthly on these schemes. CBN will start his functioning by abolition of these two.
