Rumour mills in Political circles say Telugu Desam Party's CM candidate in the recent elections, R.Krishnaiah may quit the party and join the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti. It is said that Krishnaiah is not happy for being not offered TDP floor leader post in Telangana Asssembly and is looking for alternatives. It is said that Telangana TDP already sensed the feelers regarding his exit. Krishnaiah was not even invited for the recent legislature meetings in NTR Bhavan. Contesting from LB Nagar, Krishnaiah won the last election with decent majority after he was nominated as the CM candidate for TDP in the region. BCs constitute for more than 40% in the region and Chandra Babu brought Krishnaiah, the BC reservations crusader in to politics to woo them towards TDP. However the trick backfired severely. On the other side, it is said that TRS leaders are already negotiating with Krishnaiah. KCR wants Krishnaiah to make severe allegations on TDP sidelining BCs and come in to TRS so that considerable damage is done to the party. TDP exists in Telangana due to the support of BCs and Settlers, Krishnaiah's exit may prove costly for the existence of the party in the region.
