Well it looks like Naidu is taking a leaf out of YSR’s book when it comes to boosting the strength of the party in legislature with reports that there are many MLCs from the Congress who are planning to to join TDP.
Telugu Desma only has few members compared to Congress in the Legislative Council. Hence sources say that TDP is unleashing its ‘Operation Aakarsh’.
Congress MLCs like Ravi Varma, Srinivasulu Naidu, Chaitanya Raju, Pullaiah, Reddappa Reddy, Sheik Hussain are all set to take a plunge into TDP.
The Legislative Council sessions are expected to commence from Monday and to make sure it is ready with more strength, sources say TDP is encouraging defections big time from Congress which has no single MLA in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
